The Indonesian rock band Nidji, formed in Jakarta in February 2002, performs "Hidup Tanpa Cintamu." The group's name comes from the Japanese word "niji" (虹), meaning "rainbow." Nidji's alternative pop sound draws influences from bands like Coldplay and The Killers, characterized by catchy melodies, intense guitar riffs, and relatable lyrics. Their music has been described as anthemic, inspiring, and uplifting. The band's initial lineup featured Giring Ganesha (vocals), Ramadhista Akbar (guitar), Andi Ariel Harsya (guitar), Andro Regantoro (bass), Adri Prakarsa (drums), and Randy Danistha (keyboards/synthesizers). Nidji signed with Musica Studios, releasing their debut album, *Breakthru'*, in 2005, which sold over 300,000 copies and earned a double platinum award. An English-language version of *Breakthru'* followed in 2006. Their second album, *Top Up*, was released in 2007. Nidji's songs "Heaven" and "Shadows" were used in Southeast Asian promos for the TV series *Heroes*.
