Nidji is an Indonesian rock band formed in February 2002 in Jakarta. The band's name comes from the Japanese word "niji" (虹), meaning "rainbow." Nidji's music is categorized under the alternative pop genre, with influences including Coldplay and The Killers. The band signed a record deal with Musica Studios. Their debut album, *Breakthru'*, released in 2005, included the song "Heaven." An English-language version of *Breakthru'* was released in 2006.
