About this Song
Mario G Klau and Juan Reza, the collaborative pair behind the Indonesian sound Otak Dimana?, build their work within the flexible, boundary-free space of Music/Other, a classification that rejects the narrow constraints of traditional genre boxes to hold creative output that defies easy labeling. Unlike work slotted into well-documented, widely recognized genre categories, sounds that fall into Music/Other exist outside the expectations that come with pre-defined sonic silos, allowing the creators behind them to lean into unscripted creative choices that might not fit within the limitations of more established spaces.
