About this Song
Indonesia’s domestic creative landscape for recorded sound has cultivated a thriving, nuanced community of makers working within R&B, a genre that has found a dedicated, enduring audience across the archipelago, with creators continually shaping the form to fit the specific rhythms and perspectives that define their local experiences, even as they engage with the broader global lineage of the genre. The sound Rapuh - Bonus Track emerges from this landscape, fitting firmly within the lineage of Indonesian R&B that balances respect for the genre’s core identity with the unique creative choices that mark work rooted in the country’s vibrant artistic community. As a bonus track, the recording occupies a distinct space in the continuum of released sound, designed to extend the listening experience that anchors it to a larger body of work, offering an additional layer of creative expression for those who have engaged with the core material it accompanies.
