The creation of this Indonesian hip-hop work brought together a team of cross-disciplinary creatives to realize a layered narrative rooted in the quiet grief of migrant family separation, anchored by lead artist Ipank, a Minangkabau creator whose official IPANK PRO channel serves as the exclusive platform for all his latest releases. For the track itself, composer Guspa Diana crafted the core musical framework, while Iwan Romeo stepped in to handle arrangement duties alongside all mixing and mastering work, tying the recording’s individual elements into a cohesive whole that elevates rather than overshadows the emotional story at the heart of the work. The accompanying official release, titled IPANK - MAAK (Official Music Video), drew its core narrative from a story drafted by Wulan Sari Febrihans, brought to the screen by director Deri Kresnadi, who also took on post-production duties as VFX supervisor and editor under the moniker Deri CREZZ.
