Ifan’s musical career first took root in 2008, when he stepped into the role of lead vocalist for the beloved Indonesian band Seventeen, taking over for the group’s original frontman who had stepped down to pursue other paths. Joining a band that had already established a prominent reputation across the country’s music scene was no small feat, requiring Ifan to pass a series of rigorous auditions and selections to prove he could fill the void left by his predecessor, a challenge he met with enough skill and passion to secure his place in the lineup. As a singer and songwriter, Ifan went on to build an extensive discography of work, releasing music both with Seventeen and as an individual creator, with a string of hits that spanned multiple albums: Lelaki Hebat, Selalu Mengalah, Jaga Selalu Hatimu, Jalan Terbaik, Menemukanmu, Ayah, and Kemarin, all tracks that cemented his status as a staple in Indonesian music.
