Ifan Seventeen launched his music career in 2008, when he took over as the lead vocalist of Indonesian band Seventeen. He joined the group after passing a rigorous audition and selection process. At the time of his addition to the lineup, Seventeen already held a prominent, well-established name in Indonesia’s music industry. Taking on the role required overcoming a string of hurdles to fill the position left by the band’s former frontman, who stepped down to pursue other work. After joining the band, Ifan built a reputation as both an active singer and songwriter. He released multiple musical works, some created independently, and others created in collaboration with his bandmates. The tracks he contributed to include several hit songs that appeared across a string of studio albums. Those hit songs are Lelaki Hebat, Selalu Mengalah, Jaga Selalu Hatimu, Jalan Terbaik, Menemukanmu, Ayah, and Kemarin. His journey in music did not unfold without severe hardship.
