Aku dan Dirimu (feat. Ari Lasso)
About this Song
Ari Lasso appears as a featured artist on Aku dan Dirimu, an R&B sound rooted in Indonesia’s thriving, diverse musical community. R&B as a global genre has carved out a uniquely vibrant space within Indonesia’s creative landscape, where local creators adapt the core sonic and structural foundations of the form to fit the specific cultural and creative priorities that have shaped Indonesian music for decades. Collaborative projects that pair lead and featured artists are a mainstay of this scene, a reflection of longstanding traditions that frame creative work as a shared practice, rather than a solo pursuit, allowing different creators to bring their own distinct perspectives, experiences, and creative histories to every new sound they release.
