HELLMERRY is a Filipino hip-hop artist from Quezon City. He launched his professional music career in 2021 with his debut track, "444." He builds his signature sound by blending a wide range of distinct stylistic influences, including lo-fi, rock, and trap. His creative perspective is shaped by a diverse list of artists, split evenly between beloved local Filipino acts and boundary-pushing international hip-hop stars. The local artists that inform his work include Stick Figgas, Al James, and Bawal Clan, all staples of the Filipino hip-hop scene. The international acts that drive his creative choices are A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott, and $UICIDEBOY$, three artists known for redefining the scope of modern hip-hop. HELLMERRY holds key roles in multiple layers of the Philippine music industry, from independent label building to major label partnerships. He is a co-founder of Young God Records, the label tied to all his official releases, and signed a deal with Sony Music Philippines in late 2023.
