About this Song
Rooted in Indonesia’s network of recorded creative sound, the collaborative work Something New pairs Isyana Sarasvati and Afgan, two artists who bring their distinct creative perspectives to this piece, which falls under the broad classification of Music/Other and is tied to Redrose Records as its associated release entity. Crafted as a regional music note, this sound resource centers its national origin as its core framing, situating the work within the landscape of Indonesian recorded output without overgeneralizing the broader scope of the country’s creative output, which spans far more works than can be contained in any single classification or release.
