Istianto Eko Poernomo, known as Ecko Show, began his hip-hop career in 2006 in Gorontalo, Indonesia, joining GHC (then HipHop Hulondhalo) at age 18. In 2007, he released the compilation album "HipHop Sulawesi" with MCG through IMR Record before pursuing an independent path. Ecko Show blends original and contemporary hip-hop beats, often exploring personal experiences and daily truths in his music, frequently incorporating Indonesian language and culture. His notable songs include "Jomblo," "Moneypulasi," and "Orang Baru Lebe Gacor," the latter gaining significant popularity and earning him an AMI trophy for Best Solo Rap/Hip-Hop Artist in 2025. Ecko Show draws lyrical inspiration from younger generations and has collaborated with numerous artists, including Aldamody on "Kok Lucu Ya" in 2018. He has released recent singles such as "Senayan Tanah Abang" and "Mancing Mania Mantap" in 2026, with "Senayan Tanah Abang" featuring Duo Anggrek and blending Pop Dangdut with his rap style.
