The Indonesian pop rock band Seventeen, formed in Yogyakarta in 1999, is represented by this recording. The band's name was chosen because all members were 17 years old at the time of its formation on January 17, 1999. Seventeen was active from 1999 until 2018, releasing six studio albums and fifteen singles. On December 22, 2018, while performing at a resort in Tanjung Lesung, the band was struck by the Sunda Strait tsunami. The tsunami resulted in the deaths of almost all band members, including M. Awal "Bani" Purbani, Herman Sikumbang, and Windu Andi Darmawan, along with a crew member and their manager. Riefian "Ifan" Fajarsyah was the sole surviving member of the band. After the tsunami, Ifan announced that the band would no longer continue, but he later decided to carry on the band's name in honor of the deceased members, performing as a solo artist under the Seventeen name. This recording, "Dunia Yang Indah," was provided to GP Records by Seventeen.
