About this Song
Sun Eater, the broader album project that frames this piece, anchors the work of Indonesian artist Hindia, whose sound a feeling lands in a creative space that defies narrow classification, earning its placement as Music/Other/Other. That genre designation is more than a throwaway categorical placeholder; it signals that this work does not fit neatly into the rigid boundaries that often structure how audiences engage with music, refusing to align with the tropes, conventions, and established markers of more widely documented mainstream or niche genres, allowing it to exist on its own terms, unshackled from the expectations that come with being boxed into a familiar genre label.
