About this Song
The Indonesian musical collective Dewa19 has built a sprawling discography rooted in pop, anchored by a consistent string of collaborative projects that pair their core creative team with some of the nation’s most notable vocalists and ensembles. Over the course of their career, they’ve released joint tracks with artists spanning generations and styles, from iconic vocalist Vina Panduwinata to genre-blending solo act Pamungkas and the soulful, jazz-inflected group MALIQ & D'Essentials, each collaboration spawning a slate of original and reworked tracks that expand their ever-growing catalog. Their most frequent and fruitful collaborative pairing is with vocalist Virzha, with whom they’ve created more than a dozen full tracks, all collected in a dedicated compilation of their joint work, bringing every recording the two entities have created together to audiences across all major music platforms.
