Silvy Kumalasari released "Denok" as a single in 2025. The Indonesian singer, born in Tulungagung, East Java, in 1997, performs traditional Javanese vocal arts. Didik Prasetyo (also credited as Didik Budi) wrote "Denok," which Aneka Safari Records and Berkah Talenta produced. Kumalasari, known as “Ratu Sinden” (Queen Sinden), gained prominence in the early 2020s by modernizing traditional Javanese vocal arts and achieving viral success on social media platforms. She is recognized for popularizing the campursari and dangdut genres among younger audiences. Her musical style, characterized by a distinct vocal range, combines campursari with electronic pop elements. Kumalasari's discography includes covers of classic Javanese songs and original singles. She began her career performing at local cultural events, weddings, and shadow puppet (wayang) shows in East Java.
