Perunggu, an Indonesian alternative rock band from Jakarta formed in 2019, consists of Maul Ibrahim on vocals and guitar, Adam Adenan on bass and keyboard, and Ildo Hasman on drums. The band members maintained day jobs while rehearsing after work, earning them the moniker "after-work rock band." Perunggu's musical style is characterized by strong vocals, guitar-driven sounds, and a fusion of traditional rock with contemporary inspirations, drawing influence from artists like Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys, and The Strokes. Their songs often feature guitar distortion, dynamic rhythms, and strong harmonies, which are seen to represent resistance, anxiety, and the energy of the urban working class. After releasing their debut single "Menyala" in November 2019 and their second single "Jenuh Kan Kutelan" in January 2020, Perunggu released the mini-album "Pendar" in June 2020, followed by the EP "Mengupas Pendar" in September 2020.
