The Indonesian recording "I Promise You (With Everything I Am)" is by the Backstreet Boys, an American vocal group and pop boy band formed in Orlando, Florida, in 1993. The group, consisting of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, and cousins Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson, has sold over 150 million records worldwide, making them the best-selling boy band of all time. They are the only boy band and the first group since Led Zeppelin to have their first ten albums reach the top 10 on the Billboard 200. Both their albums *Backstreet Boys* and *Millennium* were certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The Backstreet Boys received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on April 22, 2013. Their musical style has evolved from a hybrid of R&B and dance club pop with new jack balladry and hip-hop on their early albums to more pop and pop-rock, and later adult contemporary.
