About this Song
Bernadya, who records under the playful, memorable alias Bear not Ber, crafts Indonesian pop that cuts straight to the unspoken corners of everyday human experience, turning quiet, unvoiced fears and longings into accessible, resonant work that has cemented her status as one of her home country’s most compelling young pop voices. Her discography is marked by the same unflinching authenticity that defines every project she takes on: her songs feel like a list of things you were too scared to say or ask out loud, beautifully written and authentically delivered by Bernadya herself, a throughline that has connected her to millions of listeners across Indonesia and beyond. She first stepped onto the national music scene with her 2022 debut EP, which featured the hit singles “Apa Mungkin” and “Satu Bulan”, tracks that earned Platinum Awards in recognition of their outstanding cultural and commercial resonance in the Indonesian music industry.
