About this Song
Bernadya, an artist whose creative practice is rooted in Indonesia’s rich and multifaceted cultural landscape, presents Kita Buat Menyenangkan, a sound categorized under Music/Other, the flexible catalog classification designed to hold works that resist easy placement within more narrowly defined, widely codified genre frameworks. This classification serves a critical purpose for creators whose work pushes past the boundaries that often structure music distribution and presentation, eliminating the pressure to align a personal, contextually rooted creative vision with the generic markers that define genres from pop to folk, jazz to classical, that are used to sort most commercial and independent music offerings.
