About this Song
The #LombaMemainkanFana community challenge, centered on the work of beloved Indonesian outfit Barasuara, spawned this official drum playthrough of the band’s track Merayakan Fana, crafted exclusively to give contest participants a clear, accessible reference to learn the track’s core foundation before building their own original interpretations. The playthrough, categorized under pop, a genre that Barasuara’s cross-scene work often engages with as their alternative rock sound reaches wide mainstream audiences across their home country of Indonesia, eliminates the guesswork for aspiring drummers and musicians joining the challenge, breaking down the core rhythm section that anchors the original recording to give participants a solid baseline to work from as they reimagine the track for their contest submissions.
