The Indonesian pop recording "Manusia (Sumarah)" features Barasuara, a band comprising Iga Massardi on vocals and guitars, Gerald Situmorang on bass, synthesizers, and guitar, TJ Kusuma on guitars, Asteriska and Puti Chitara on vocals, and Marco Steffiano on drums. Barasuara produced the song and arranged it with compositions by Gerald Situmorang and Iga Massardi, who also wrote the lyrics. Vocal production was handled by Barasuara and Mohammed Kamga, with vocal arrangements by Puti Chitara and Asteriska. The recording sessions took place from May 2022 to May 2023 at various studios, including SoundVerve Studio, Sembunyi Studio, Studio Steffiano, Iga’s Home Studio, GeSitudio, and TJ’s Home Studio. Stevano mixed the track at Sembunyi Studio between April and May 2024, and it was mastered by Steve Fallone and Greg Calbi at Sterling Sound NJ in June 2024. Gerald Situmorang, TJ Kusuma, and Marco Steffiano edited the final recording.
