About this Song
Tucked into a local Indonesian venue, the night of 6th March 2023 brought Barasuara’s full six-member lineup to the stage of Duck Down Bar, for a release party celebrating their work Merayakan Fana, captured in its entirety on the recording titled Barasuara - Live at Duck Down Bar (Merayakan Fana Release Party). Rooted in Indonesia’s thriving pop and alternative rock landscape, the band brings together a diverse range of creative roles across its members, a configuration that allows for layered, dynamic work that translates even in the intimate, high-energy space of a neighborhood bar, striking a thoughtful contrast between the scale of the band’s collective creative output and the small, community-focused setting chosen to mark the launch of their new project.
