Indonesian pop group Barasuara recorded "Antea" between October 2021 and January 2024 across multiple studios, including SoundVerve, Sembunyi, GeSitudio, Iga’s Home Studio, TJ’s Home Studio, and Studio Steffiano. Gerald Situmorang composed the music, while Iga Massardi wrote the lyrics. Both Situmorang and Massardi arranged the track. The recording features Iga Massardi on vocals, electric, and acoustic guitars; Asteriska and Puti Chitara on vocals; Gerald Situmorang on electric bass, synthesizers, and background vocals; TJ Kusuma on electric guitars and background vocals; and Marco Steffiano on drums and percussion. Additional musicians include Jordy Waelauruw on trumpet, Yowie Henry on trombone, and Mohammed Kamga on background vocals. Barasuara and Mohammed Kamga produced the vocals, with Puti Chitara and Mohammed Kamga also handling vocal arrangements. Stevano mixed the track at Sembunyi Studio, and Steve Fallone and Greg Calbi mastered it at Sterling Sound NJ.
