About this Song
Armada draws from the rich, interconnected creative ecosystem that defines Indonesian pop, a space that has nurtured generations of artists who balance the core accessibility and structural identity of global pop with the specific cultural context that makes work rooted in the country’s creative landscape feel distinct and deeply rooted in its origins. Every creative choice the act has pursued across their career has built incrementally toward the release of Asal Kau Bahagia, their pop sound that carries forward all the core artistic priorities that have shaped Armada’s body of work, while aligning with the genre’s longstanding ability to travel beyond national borders and connect with listeners who engage with pop music across a wide range of regional contexts.
