Adrian Khalif, an Indonesian singer and rapper born on June 24, 1992, developed a broad musical palette from a childhood spent in diplomatic family postings in cities like Geneva, Canberra, New York, and London. He cultivated an interest in hip-hop during his teenage years in New York City, later graduating from the University of Indonesia in 2016. Khalif signed with E-motion Entertainment and released his debut single, "Made in Jakarta," featuring Dipha Barus, in 2017. This track won the Best Hip Hop category at the AMI Awards in 2017 and has accumulated over 1.5 million streams. FHM recognized him as "The Next Wonder" in the music industry in their September 2017 issue. Khalif, who idolizes Kanye West and draws inspiration from him, emerged in Indonesia's independent R&B scene in 2018.
