About this Song
Tentang Seseorang emerges from Indonesia’s vibrant, continuously expanding R&B ecosystem, a space that has reshaped global understandings of the genre by bringing localized creative priorities to bear on the core sonic and thematic throughlines that define R&B around the world. For decades, popular discourse around R&B often centered a narrow set of geographic and cultural origins, framing the genre’s evolution as a linear story that originated in one region and spread outward to be adopted by creators elsewhere, rather than a decentralized, collaborative web of innovation where every scene adds layers of meaning, technique, and perspective that expand the genre’s very boundaries.
