Heated Rivalry Adds Justice Smith and Charlie Gillespie for Season 2

About this Song

Justice Smith and Charlie Gillespie are joining Season 2 of "Heated Rivalry," HBO Max's hit hockey romance drama, in two major new roles. Smith will play Harris Drover, Ottawa's social media manager, while Gillespie takes on Troy Barrett, a hockey player navigating a fresh start after leaving his former team. Both characters are drawn from Rachel Reid's "Game Changers" book series. They join returning stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams, who led Season 1 as Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander in a story that grew from a secret fling into a years-long romance. With two new leads added, Season 2 looks set to widen the show's world while keeping the emotional depth that made Season 1 a fan favorite.
