About this Song
Genre acts as the living, evolving backbone of every recording that emerges from creative communities around the world, and this foundational framework shapes every choice that goes into building a sound that resonates with both its intended audience and the broader landscape of global music. For Lagi, the sound credited to Skusta Clee and rooted in the creative ecosystem of the Philippines, that genre-led foundation ties directly to the long, vibrant history of musical creation that has flourished across the Philippine archipelago for generations, a history that continues to expand and shift as new creators add their own perspectives to the lineage of work that comes before them.
