Silent Sanctuary, a Filipino rock band formed in Metro Manila in 2001, is known for its "Rockestra" sound, which blends classical instruments like cello and violin with rock music. The band's founding members included Norman Dellosa on vocals and guitars, Paolo Legaspi on bass guitar, and Allen Calixto on drums. Anjo Inacay (cello) joined as the fourth member, followed by Jett Ramirez (viola) and Chino David (violin). In February 2004, the band released their independent full-length album, *Ellipsis of the Mind*. After Dellosa's departure, Sarkie Sarangay took over vocals, and Jason Rondero became the new bassist. Silent Sanctuary's second album, *Fuchsiang Pag-ibig*, was released in 2007, featuring songs like "Ikaw Lamang" and "Kundiman." That same year, the song "Tuyo Na'ng Damdamin" was released on the album *Kami Napo Muna Ulit*, with lyrics written by Jim Paredes. The band's third album, *Mistaken for Granted*, followed in 2009, with *Monodramatic* in 2013 and *Langit. Luha.* in 2015.
