About this Song
Silent Sanctuary, a Filipino rock band formed in Metro Manila in 2001, performs "Paalam." The band is known for its "Rockestra" sound, which blends classical instruments like cello and violin with rock music. Cellist Anjo Inacay, violist Jett Ramirez, and violinist Chino David joined founding members Norman Dellosa (vocals, guitars), Paolo Legaspi (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Allen Calixto (drums) to establish this signature style. The band has released five studio albums, including *Ellipsis of the Mind* (2004), *Fuchsiang Pag-ibig* (2007), *Mistaken for Granted* (2009), *Monodramatic* (2013), and *Langit. Luha.* (2015). Silent Sanctuary's music, often featured in local movie and TV series soundtracks, is particularly popular with high school and college students.
