About this Song
The title "Hot N Cold" is a pop recording from Indonesia by Katy Perry, born Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson. Perry, who adopted her mother's maiden name to avoid confusion with actress Kate Hudson, initially pursued gospel music, releasing her debut album, *Katy Hudson*, in 2001. After signing with Capitol Records in 2007, her breakthrough came with the 2008 pop-rock album *One of the Boys*. Her 2010 album, *Teenage Dream*, became the only album by a woman to produce five U.S. number-one singles. Perry's subsequent albums include *Prism* (2013), *Witness* (2017), *Smile* (2020), and *143* (2024). She is one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
