Gloc-9's "Upuan" is a hip-hop recording from the Philippines. Gloc-9, born Aristotle Condenuevo Pollisco, is a Filipino rapper, singer, and songwriter known for his fast-flowing "chopper" vocal style. Francis Magalona described Gloc-9 as "a blacksmith of words and letters, and a true Filipino poet." Gloc-9's songs often address social issues such as social injustices, poverty, and patriotism. He began his musical career with the gangsta rap group Death Threat in the 1990s. His debut solo album, "G9," was released in 2003. "Ako Si..." followed in 2005 with a more laid-back R&B sound. The 2007 album "Diploma" included nu-metal-esque elements. His albums "MKNM: Mga Kwento Ng Makata" and "Liham at Lihim" have been certified Gold and Platinum, respectively. Gloc-9 has collaborated with numerous OPM artists. He has won over 60 awards throughout his 25-year career.
