About this Song
Ex Battalion, a creative entity whose work emerges from the rich, sprawling cultural landscape of the Philippines, carries forward a long lineage of artists from the region who have refused to let industry-imposed boundaries limit the scope of their sound, and on Fallin' (feat. MUFFIN), that commitment to resisting categorization is made explicit in the very framing of the work, which carries a genre classification of Other/Other/Other, a marker that refuses to pin the track to any preexisting trend, scene, or sonic blueprint that might limit how listeners meet it on its own terms.
