About this Song
Stretching across thousands of islands, home to hundreds of distinct cultural groups and longstanding creative traditions, Indonesia’s musical output encompasses a vast range of works that reflect the breadth of creative vision emerging continuously from the archipelago, each offering a unique window into the collaborative and individual artistry that defines the nation’s vibrant creative community. Within that wide, ever-growing landscape of sound sits Risalah Hati, a recording from Indonesian creators Dewa 19 and 尤拉·尤妮达, crafted as part of the ongoing chain of musical works that connect creators across the country to audiences near and far, carrying the specific context of their Indonesian origins in every layer of the work.
