About this Song
Pop, as a global artistic form that adapts to the specific cultural, social, and creative contexts of every region it takes root in, finds a vivid, enduring home in the Philippines, where local creators have spent decades reimagining what the genre can hold, what it can communicate, and who it can reach. The sound Ghost emerges from this rich, constantly evolving landscape of Philippine pop, a space where creators draw from generations of local creative tradition while engaging with the global currents that shape pop’s broader trajectory, creating work that feels both rooted in the specific realities of life in the Philippines and resonant with audiences far beyond the archipelago’s borders.
